:roll:Ohhhh... soooo cute!!! These puppies are so sweet and my girls are finding so much joy in spending time with them!

Tonight was a tad traumatic for us...removal of the dew claws... Bailey and Bridget took Brandy for a walk while Brinley and I clipped their dew claws. This was the first time I have done this and it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Thank goodness!!

We finally named the puppies tonight... Josie and Liam....

Mom and puppies are sound asleep after their first day all alone. No little people running in everytime a puppy squeaks.... LOL!

Day 55

Day 55.... It snowed during the night! I love the snow, but I just realized how small my house is going to get VERY SOON when these puppies come. hehehe.... Oh well!

Brandy's 'trips outside" are becoming more and more frequent. It reminds of when I was pregnant with each of the girls and had to go all the time. Two nights ago I thought she may be in labor.... She woke me at 4:20 because she needed to go outside. She was out there quite a while, I was watching her through the patio door and she just kept "squatting and squatting"... I thought oh no.... she's gonna have one in the yard! But she came back and settled in for a few more hours of sleep.. Whew!

:)

Day 48

2 weeks to go until the puppies are here! Poor Brandy is so restless. She

spends a lot of time pacing and when she does finally lay down she sleeps

really hard. The girls have "decorated" her whelping box with winnie the pooh

bedding. (actually it is a whelping "pool").

Day 45

Brandy is getting bigger by the minute! We can hear the puppies' heart beats,

but can't feel them move too much yet. Poor Brandy is so tired, she has been

sleeping a lot more than usual and it even takes a little effort for her to

jump up on our bed. Yes...she is still sleeping with us! She loves to cuddle

and she keeps my feet warm. We have her whelping box all ready and are so

excited for the puppies to come. The girls have been guessiing how many

puppies we are going to have; Bailey guesses 12, Brinley guesses 11 and

Bridget guesses 8. Oh my..... we will see!!
